TrueSAR

About TrueSAR LLC

Built around the mission.
And the people behind it.

TrueSAR began with the practical problems of running searches and documenting K9 activity. It grew into a platform for the people doing that job.

01 / How TrueSAR started

Built from firsthand
SAR experience.

TrueSAR was founded by Connor Banks, a Connecticut public-safety professional and SAR K9 handler. His experience with fragmented tools for search missions, K9 operations, mapping, accountability and reporting led him to build a more connected approach.

The early focus was practical: K9/search tracking and getting useful information onto the mission map. That effort expanded into Mission Command, teams and assignments, accountability, and Training & Reporting—tools that help carry a response through to the documentation afterward.

02 / What guides the product

Make the practical tasks easier.

Assign a team, start a search, check accountability or finish a deployment report. The software should help people complete those tasks without making them translate SAR into a generic business tool.

Respect each discipline.

K9 handlers and drone operators need different details. TrueSAR gives those disciplines room to develop while keeping them part of the same search and reporting platform.

Serve the individual as well as the team.

A handler managing personal training history deserves useful tools just as much as a command staff coordinating a response. Clear plans and published prices help each customer choose the right starting point.
