Straight answers.
Plans, account access, and what is still being finalized.
Getting started
When can I start using TrueSAR?
Public enrollment is not open yet. Training & Deployments is currently targeting December 1, 2026; timing may change. See the maintained availability summary on the home page or contact TrueSAR about the prelaunch offering.
Will there be a free trial?
TrueSAR plans to offer an optional 30-day trial. A trial will not be required before purchase. Public enrollment is not open yet.
How will trial eligibility work?
Trial eligibility and repeat-trial terms will be published before public enrollment opens.
Accounts & records
What happens when a trial expires?
Trial-expiry handling is still being finalized. The intended six-month read-only policy is described from the end of paid access, not from trial expiry.
What happens after paid access ends?
The intended launch policy is six months of read-only customer access from the end of paid access. During that period, customers can use the intended offboarding download option and request reinstatement. Downloads do not shorten the six-month window. After customer access ends, data is intended to remain in TrueSAR-only storage for two additional months before deletion. This policy is not yet implemented or final.
Can I reinstate later?
Under the intended launch policy, reinstatement is available during the six-month read-only period. Final terms remain to be confirmed.
What happens to my agency workspace?
The intended launch policy is six months of read-only organization access from the end of paid access. Offboarding, reinstatement, and post-access retention details remain subject to final terms.
How are accounts identified?
Account-identification details will be published before public enrollment opens.
Packages & billing
Is pricing annual?
Yes. TrueSAR packages are priced annually in USD. The current rate card is shown on the Pricing page.
What counts as a user?
A user is a person with access to the applicable TrueSAR workspace. Assets do not consume user seats.
What if my organization grows?
Move to the next published Team size when your organization needs more seats. Operations is planned. Contact TrueSAR for changes beyond 100 users.
How do Team seat limits work?
Team packages are available for up to 5, 15, 25, 50, or 100 users. Choose the smallest band that covers your organization.
Who can manage team records?
The workspace Owner and Admin handle billing, while Supervisors manage assignments, review, and catalogs. Individual users can export their own records. More detailed permissions and record-custody guidance will be published before enrollment opens.
What is Operations?
Operations is planned work intended to add mission capabilities to Training & Deployments. Public enrollment is not open; Desktop is In Development.
Can tax-exempt organizations purchase?
When enrollment opens, organizations can request tax-exempt status during intake. Verification is required before tax-exempt purchase treatment is applied.
Can I request a demo instead?
Yes. Contact TrueSAR for a focused conversation about your needs.
What happens for more than 100 users?
100+ users or unusual deployment requirements are handled as a Custom package. Contact sales@truesar.com.
Do volunteer or nonprofit organizations receive a standard discount?
TrueSAR does not offer a standard volunteer or nonprofit discount. Organizations with unique circumstances may contact sales@truesar.com.
Access & external services
Which applications are included with my package?
The Training & Deployments offering is designed around Cloud access for records and reporting. Desktop and Mobile are In Development. Operations remains planned.
Are external services such as CalTopo included?
No. External mapping, tracking, and other subscriptions are separate from TrueSAR and are not included in the published packages.
