TrueSAR LLC Privacy Policy
Online contact and public website information.
This Policy explains how we process inquiries and technical information from visits to truesar.com.
Effective date: September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TrueSAR LLC ("TrueSAR," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information through https://truesar.com and its public marketing pages (the "Website").
The Website provides general information about TrueSAR and allows visitors to contact us about demonstrations, pricing, subscriptions, and other business matters. This Policy does not govern the TrueSAR application, customer workspaces, support provided inside the application, or data processed for customers through the TrueSAR platform.
Those activities will be governed by the applicable product privacy notice, subscription terms, order, data-processing terms, and other customer agreements.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit an inquiry, we may collect the inquiry type; whether you are contacting us as an individual or for a team or organization; your name; title or role; organization; email address; voluntarily provided phone number; state or region; approximate numbers of users or resources; areas of interest; and the contents of your message. We also collect information you provide in later business correspondence.
Website and security information
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process ordinary technical information when you visit the Website, such as your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, requested pages, date and time, referring page, network and diagnostic information, and security events. TrueSAR uses this information to deliver the Website, maintain security, investigate misuse, and diagnose technical problems.
Payment information
If the Website later links to a third-party checkout, billing, or customer portal, the payment provider will collect payment-card and related payment information under its own privacy notice. TrueSAR may receive limited transaction, billing, account, and subscription information.
TrueSAR does not intend to receive or store full payment-card numbers when payment-card processing is handled by that provider.
2. Information You Should Not Submit
Do not submit incident records or sensitive operational information through the public inquiry form. This includes patient, medical, subject, victim, criminal-justice, evidence, precise mission-location, protected personnel, credential, or active-case information.
The inquiry form is for ordinary business communications. Existing customers should use TrueSAR Support inside the application for product support. If prohibited or unnecessary information is submitted, we may delete it, restrict access to it, or take other reasonable steps to protect it.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries; arrange demonstrations; provide pricing and product information; evaluate business needs; communicate about a requested or existing business relationship; route existing customers to the appropriate support channel; operate, secure, and improve the Website; detect fraud, spam, abuse, and security incidents; maintain appropriate business records; administer future payment or subscription interactions; enforce our terms; and comply with law or protect legal rights.
We may send follow-up communications that relate to your request or an existing business relationship. If we send promotional email, you may unsubscribe using the instructions in the message.
Providing a phone number for an inquiry does not by itself authorize automated marketing calls or text messages.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to vendors that provide hosting, content delivery, website security, email, mail delivery, communications, payment processing, and related business services. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services or as otherwise permitted by their own terms and applicable law.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers; to comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; to protect TrueSAR, users, or others; or in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
TrueSAR does not sell personal information for money. TrueSAR does not use personal information collected through the Website for targeted advertising, and the Website does not use advertising networks as of the effective date.
6. Retention
We retain inquiry information and business correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, conduct appropriate follow-up, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the Website.
Hosting and security logs may be retained for shorter operational or security periods determined by TrueSAR's configuration and the applicable provider. Retention may be extended when information is subject to a legal hold, security investigation, or other lawful requirement.
7. Security
TrueSAR uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the Website. Planned controls for the inquiry form include server-side validation and anti-abuse measures such as rate limiting, a honeypot, or comparable controls.
No Internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may choose not to provide optional information, and you may unsubscribe from promotional email. Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling.
To make a privacy request, email admin@truesar.com with the subject "Privacy Request." Describe your request and the email address associated with your inquiry.
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
10. Children
The Website is intended for a general business and professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 through the Website.
If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.
11. Third Party Sites and Services
The Website may link to or describe third-party sites, devices, platforms, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. A reference to a third party does not mean that TrueSAR owns, controls, sponsors, endorses, or is partnered with that party unless we expressly say so.
12. Processing in the United States
TrueSAR is based in Connecticut, United States. Information collected through the Website may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our Website, practices, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised Policy on the Website and update the effective date.
